Meet Dr. Rheela Kim
Dr. Rheela Kim graduated from UC Irvine with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Social Behavior. She then pursued work in the hospitality industry until realizing her true passion and interest was in the health sciences, and successfully completed her Doctorate in Optometry from UC Berkeley School of Optometry.
Dr. Kim’s clinical training includes rotations at Crow Indian Health Services in Crow Agency, Montana; William Omni Eye Services in New Jersey and New York; the Society for the Blind in Sacramento, CA; and Highland County Hospital in Alameda, CA.
Dr. Rheela Kim is licensed in Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents and is certified to treat glaucoma in California.
For Dr. Kim, volunteering at various non-profit vision clinics in Southern California has been extremely rewarding. She also enjoys spending time in the sun poolside or at the beach with her husband, her son, and her dog Belle. She loves to travel and explore new cities – tasting new foods, sampling exotic coffee blends, and of course, eating delicious desserts.
